When I met up with Ang for the first time to discuss her wedding, we spoke for a few hours. I had so much to learn about her love for Pete, her story of how they want their wedding party to be told. I felt so lucky I had met such a down to earth, beautiful, friendly soul and Pete is exactly the same and I guess that’s why they’re a match made perfectly. And happy to report, their story was told exactly the way Ang had intended to write. There were so many special memories from this wedding it was really hard for me to choose which one’s I captured that I would display here. I loved that her guests, family and friends flying from overseas would flock to their side, throwing confetti and showing loads of affection, this is the greatest formula for great wedding photos. The touching gesture of having the two hats displayed at the signing table in memory of their Grandfathers, lighting a candle during the ceremony to remember them by. I can’t forget that the Best Man speech who is also Pete’s brother was the BEST speech I have ever come across! Lastly, I have to mention, the lunge pose was all Pete’s idea, not mine but I think it’s pretty rad.
This was a beautiful, special, grounded, loving wedding. Thank you Ang and Pete for allowing me to document your amazing day. xx
