This year was my second year exhibiting at the ArtsBridge Exhibition held annually during the Wattle Festival in Hurstbridge. Hosted by Hurstbridge P.S I enjoyed exhibiting four of my photographs. It was a thrilling experience once again and enjoying selling one of my artworks, “The greens of Yarra Ranges” was the highlight. Another great experience was hosting my first photography workshop for the kids. I had 20 students Primary and Secondary school aged learning about photography, from camera safety to key things to think about when taking photos. It was terrific fun albeit exhausting!

Art4All exhibition hosted by Fairfield P.S was also one of my big leaps in 2017. I’ve heard wonderful things about this exhibition and in it’s twentieth year and with a great history behind the exhibition, it was time to see if I had a place in the art world. It was daunting because the crowd seemed clique. It wasn’t novice to the art world and so when I returned on pick up day I was pleasantly surprised that one of my photographs sold. It was more than pleasant actually, I was estatic and I’m sure I jumped for joy and fist pumped the air.
